Over the years, Laura has volunteered her time on charitable and advocacy efforts. She has led events and fundraised for Saint Basil Academy (a residential school for at-risk students run by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America located in Garrison, NY) and the Cyprus Children’s Fund (an organization that provides help not only to generationally affected refugees and enclaved children, but also to children that come from families struggling with economic and medical challenges). She is the founding President of the Cypriot Young Professionals (2013), is a Board member of the CYPRUS-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and continues to be a published author for NEO Magazine (Greek American Magazine) and a leader in the community. Additional non-profit work includes Marketing Greece (founded in 2013 to promote tourism in Greece), and the Greek Children's Fund (established in 1983, for 40 years the organization has been helping save children's lives with cancer and life-threatening illnesses).
